No tool expresses our "there is a better way" motto at Mathias more than the piercing tool. The piercing tool is a hard tool that can run on a clam shell press and cut materials as thick as .065", while actually removing the waste at the same time as the part is being cut.
Mathias Die Company Introduces the "PHT Die"
A PHT die is a Male/Female tooling that has been found to be successful piercing both aluminum and polysheet materials up to .080" thick and can be run on just about any cutting or stamping press that can generate at least 10 tons of cutting pressure.
